AI quiz generator for teachers
Give SabiQuiz a topic, a web page or your own lesson notes, and it writes a multiple-choice quiz you can edit and then run live in class. Students join from their phones with a PIN, so there is nothing to install and no accounts to set up.
It is built to save you the first draft, not to replace your judgement: you read the questions, fix what is wrong and keep what is good.
How it works
Step 1
Start from what you have
A topic such as "the water cycle", a web page, or a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file of your notes. The file is read in your browser and is not uploaded.
Step 2
Edit the draft
Change a question, swap an answer, delete one that is off-syllabus, or add your own. Nothing reaches students until you host it.
Step 3
Run it live, or let them practise
Host a live game for the class, or play it solo as revision. After a live game you get a report of which questions the class missed.
Quizzes from your own notes
Upload a PDF, a Word document or a text file, or paste text, and the questions are written about that material. The text is shown to you first, and you can edit it before anything is sent. The free plan uses up to 12,000 characters of a document, about 4 pages; paid plans use more. Scanned pages and images are not read.
After the game: which questions the class missed
When a live game ends, SabiQuiz keeps a report for you: how many students chose each answer on every question, and which questions were hardest. On the free plan you see the summary of your last 3 games and the three hardest questions. Pro keeps every game for 12 months and exports results to a spreadsheet.
What students need, and what we keep
Students need a phone, tablet or laptop with a browser, and the PIN. They choose a nickname. They do not give an email address or create an account.
A report holds the nickname each student typed and their score, and nothing else. Ask students to use a nickname rather than their real name, and you can delete any report at any time.
What to know before you rely on it
AI can get things wrong. Always read the questions first.
- The free plan writes 3 AI quizzes a day. Educator writes 20 and Pro 50. Writing your own questions is unlimited on every plan.
- A free live game holds 20 students. Educator holds 50, which covers most classes, and Pro 100.
- Hard difficulty is part of every paid plan. Easy and Medium are free.
See what students see
Play a five-question science round. This is the same game screen your class would use.
Pick a sample quiz and play five questions in about a minute, no sign-up needed.
Make your own quiz freeQuestions people ask
- Do my students need accounts?
- No. They join a live game with a PIN or QR code and a nickname. Only you, the host, need an account.
- Can I make a quiz from my own lesson notes?
- Yes. Upload a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file, or paste the text. It is read in your browser, you see exactly what will be used and can edit it, and the free plan uses up to 12,000 characters.
- How accurate are the questions?
- Usually good, and sometimes wrong, as with any AI. That is why every quiz opens in an editor before it is hosted. Check the questions against your own material.
- Is it free for teachers?
- The free plan is open to everyone: 3 AI quizzes a day, 20 players per live game and unlimited quizzes you write yourself. The Educator plan ($4.99 a month) is for teachers who want more: 50 players, 20 AI quizzes a day, Hard difficulty and full game reports.
