Bible trivia game for youth groups and churches
A Bible trivia night works best when everyone can join in the first minute. With SabiQuiz you put a PIN or a QR code on the screen, everyone joins from their phone, and the scores update live. A free game holds 20 people, and there is a step up when the whole hall wants to play.
You can write your own questions from the passage you taught, or let the AI draft a set from a topic and check it before the night.
How it works
Step 1
Pick the theme
A book, a story, a character, or the passage from this week. Type it in and the AI writes a set, or write your own.
Step 2
Check every question
Read the set against your own Bible and your own tradition. Edit anything you would word differently.
Step 3
Put the PIN on the screen
Everyone joins from their phone with the PIN, QR code or a WhatsApp link. No app, no account.
How to run a trivia night
A simple shape that works for a youth group of around twenty.
- Before: make two or three rounds of ten questions on different themes, and test them once yourself.
- Set up: connect a laptop to the projector or TV and open the host screen, so the PIN and the players are visible to the room.
- Join: ask everyone to scan the QR code. Tell them to choose a nickname, not their full name.
- Play: ten questions, fifteen seconds each, scores on screen between questions.
- After: put the podium up, then talk through the questions people missed.
How many people can play
The free plan holds 20 players in a game, which suits a youth group or a home group. Educator holds 50, Pro 100 and Team 500, for a larger hall or a combined service. If the room fills, the host sees how many people could not join and can upgrade without restarting.
A word of care about the questions
The AI writes in general terms and can get a detail wrong, and traditions differ on some questions. Treat the draft as a first pass: read it, correct it and keep the ones you are sure of. Quizzes you write yourself are free and unlimited.
